I’m really pleased that I got the chance to do this for Remembrance this year (to international readers this is a day to mark the ending of the First World War and a day to remember those who died in service of the armed forces)

I myself grew up in an RAF family. So I'm well aware of the commitments and sacrifices involved when you sign up.

This is in tribute to my great grandfather, who returned from both world wars thereby allowing my family to exist, and to my father, who is a retired RAF serviceman and reserve Wing Commander. Its difficult to tell with their faces out of sight but Jason (on the left) is in a modern day Wing Commander's uniform and Ian (right) is in a WW1 Sergeants uniform.

Lest we forget.

Wow... I really love this page... choice of colour, pose, the way the uniforms are drawn, and the overall mood... what a great tribute.

I enjoy the way you use your characters to bring attention to events outside of their story world. It gives your work that much more meaning and a kind of self-awareness... please keep it up!
